pageant
last May
30, 2009
which
was held
at the
Korean
Cultural
Center
on
Leslie
Road,
North
York,
Ontario.
First
runner-up
and
winner
for Best
in
Philippine
Costume
was
Ylenne
Enriquez
of
Kitchener,
Ontario,
while
the
second
runner-up
honours
was
awarded
to
Rachel
Ann
Loberas.
Hazel
Nanes
won the
People’s
Choice
award,
having
garnered
the
highest
number
of votes
in the
online
voting
sponsored
by
www.filipinos.ca,
the web
publication
for
Filipino
Canadians.
Charlene
Dorland
was
chosen
as Miss
Congeniality.
It was a
jampacked
crowd of
over 600
people
who
attended
the
fun-filled
evening
hosted
by
Edward
de Juan
and
former
Miss
Manila
winner
Natalie
Canlubo.
Guest
performers
Bong
Chavez
and
Jasmine
Ragual
wowed
the
audience
with
their
beautiful
songs,
while
the
Fiesta
Filipina
Dance
Troupe
presented
special
dances.
